A downloadable game
This is a technical demo for a stealth horror game, with a theme of 80's power ballad and modern day sword and sorcery.
The focus on the university project for me, was creating a AI with some sense of emotion to it whilst fitting in a stealth category, so what you will see in the video demonstration is just some core gameplay mechanics based around sneaking around your opponent whilst avoiding conflict where possible.
I used Unreal, since it was the engine I am most comfortable in. The AI at times was a little challenging to design, but with a combination of behaviour tree states, and a few blueprints on the character, I was able to create the Ai that you can see in the demo video.
I did not create any of the art or music, I have just taken some royalty free assets, if you would like to check them out go to epidemicsound.com & fesliyanstudios, they make some really nice horror sound effects/music.
